QLC1 Passed!

What a way to start the new year. I felt that this was going to be a good year for me and my family. Nothing concrete, just a feeling. Had a wonderful Christmas time with friends and family. Took lots of pictures, and really enjoyed the in-laws stay with us. Sadly they left last week to head back to Iowa, sure is quiet around the house.
Back to QLC1, I took another practice test with it and scored a 64% which was above the cut score and considered a pass. The equations were still a bit murky to me, but since it was multiple choice I figured I had a chance. I scheduled the exam and set about cramming the last 5 days before the exam. Two and half hours later, I was rewarded with a 68% pass score! Ironically I scored higher on the Algebraic equations then the Geometric Volumes area questions. I felt comfortable with those, and did not do as well I thought I would. Oh well, a pass is a pass. I took the weekend off from studying and will start the next Science course.
Celebrated my future son in law's birthday Saturday with a cookout at their house. My grand daughter Adilyn is growing so quick! Such a beautiful special little lady! Finished the day out with a trip to the County Fair with friends.
Hard to believe it is already the 4th week in January. Next month Terry turns 70, and Peggy turns 45. Will have to find something special for Peggy, and we will celebrate with Terry in June. It is a surprise!!!!!!
I must say, as I sit in Starbucks enjoying coffee and the atmosphere. I really enjoy it. I do the majority of my studying at Starbucks, and I reckon it's working so far.
Best to everyone reading this, will catch up soon and post more pictures.
