Yeah Me! Task 3 was more difficult than the first two. I had to design an experiment, create a hypothesis, build the experiment, use validity and several other scientific terms/procedures. The experiment part took 6 days and essentially paired vinegar versus Roundup as an effective weed killer. The hard part is creating the controls and working with the variables, and basically explaining how important it is to follow a specific set of procedures and to ensure steps are taken in a certain order, so if anyone was to replicate your experiment they would achieve similar results. All in all, it was really quite interesting, I was bummed out when I submitted it to the graders, only to have it returned with very low scores. Fortunately I worked with Dr Kelly, one of the science mentors, and she explained how I was really only missing a couple key elements. Once those were put in and explained, my task came back with high scores!
Finally down to the last class of this term, WSV1. It is the second class of the CIW track. It is essentially Web Design Specialist. Should be fun and interesting. I've always been a little weak in this area of the computer field, so lets have a go!
