In days of Camelot and kings

The skies were full of angels

riding high on snow white wings

That reached the sun…

and wishing wells

The wizards and the witches

knew a hundred different spells.

And nobody could count the magic wonders

That they spun…

The knights

Used strange enchanted swords to fight

The evil of the dragon

Or the power of the knave

The knight stayed brave

And shining

Till he’d won…

In days of Camelot

And Queens

A young girl’s heart was full of dreams

Of magic rings

Of wedding kings.

They dreamed of being a lady, every one.

In days of Camelot

There was alot

of magic in the world..

Today

You came to say it’s over.

You’ve found another lover

And you say the things we used to share

Are gone.

There isn’t any point in going on.

Today

You came and shattered all my dreams.

It seems,

The last of the magic

Has faded away
